Eon Space Labs is a pioneering space-defence technology start-up headquartered in the vibrant city of Hyderabad, India. We are at the forefront of innovation, specializing in the design and manufacture of earth observation Optical Payloads for satellites, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and drones.

Our mission is to revolutionize the way we observe our planet. We leverage our indigenous technology to enable users to capture high-resolution images of Earth. What sets us apart is our ability to achieve this using a smaller SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) factor. This efficiency not only makes our technology more accessible but also contributes to sustainable practices in the space industry.

Our Story
EON Space Labs, a startup founded by three seasoned engineers and entrepreneurs, is the culmination of a rich tapestry of experiences and collaborations. The co-founders, each bringing a unique wealth of experience, first collaborated as consultants for a defense company. They oversaw the entire product development process, from initial design to prototyping, and eventually commercialization. Their notable projects included an Ultra-Lightweight Riflescope, Thermal Sights, a 100mm RC Telescope for MWIR Imaging, and a larger 200mm RC Telescopic Imaging system tailored for defense applications. This intensive two-year product development phase laid the groundwork for EON Space Labs.
Prior to their defense-focused venture, the team collaborated with esteemed institutions such as the University of Rochester, the Boston Foundation of Sight, and some of the top corporates in different industries. These partnerships aimed to develop an innovative in vivo microscopic imaging system, leveraging technology from the fields of astronomy and defense, specifically Adaptive Optics. They also honed their expertise in the ultra-high-precision manufacturing of optics and optomechanical systems. Today, EON Space Labs, with a team of five engineers including the founders, continues to innovate in various fields such as electronics, software development, optics, mechanical, and manufacturing.
